Norfloat Soft Mooring Buoys - MB1S 65cm Dia - Signal Orange This Soft Mooring Buoy in signal orange with through-chain connections offers a tough, long lasting, cost effective solution to most mooring requirements. The MB1S soft mooring buoys have been developed for swinging moorings. The mooring buoy is made from rotationally moulded UV stabilised PVC to provide excellent protection against the hull of the boat, especially important in wind over tide situations. It's low-energy surface reduces marine growth significantly which helps keep maintenance costs to a minimum. The soft mooring buoy is pressure filled using marine grade polyurethane foam, to a 36kg/m3 density, which makes it virtually unsinkable in the event of damage. The top recess of the buoy helps prevent shackle damage to the moored craft. The MB1S and MB2S buoys are also suitable for most other mooring situations such as trot and fore and aft moorings.
